Using a car camera in the EU countries

·    Slovakia – same rules as in the CR apply

·    Hungary – recording with restrictions

·    Austria – recording is prohibited

·    Germany – a record may be used before a court

·    Italy – no license plate identification

·    Belgium – without possibility of personal identification

·    Sweden – only with a special permission

·    France, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, The Netherlands, Denmark, Norway – only for personal purposes

·    The Great Britain and other EU Member states – without any restrictions

Under no circumstances may the recording be used in violation of the privacy rights of the persons depicted, e.g. it may not be published.
